A trouble alert is raised when a resource check fails and the monitor status is changed from up to trouble. This happens only if the ‘Generate trouble alert when a resource check fails’ field is set to ‘Yes’ in the associated threshold profile.
Log in and navigate to Admin > Configuration Profiles > Threshold Profile > Select the server monitor > Set as Yes for ‘Generate trouble alert when a resource check fails’
Note: The General Trouble alert can be configured by setting the ‘Generate trouble alert when a resource check fails’ field to ‘No’ in the server monitor’s threshold profile.
